Climate and late Neogene Paleoclimate of SE Asia

The climate history is a key part to integrate in studying the Hengduan Mountains region. Paleoclimate reconstructions are challenging and need more studies and modelling efforts. Collaborators from the Atmosphere and Climate group are actively involved and one doctoral project, that of student Ruolan Xiang, is particularly set to investigate the climate and late Neogene Paleoclimate of South-East Asia.
